Even though the situations in the poem was not exactly what I could relate to (since the poem talks about sibling quarrels, and i
and my siblings have grown to handle and do what's right about that without tantrum, childish acts, etc.) I managed to picture the main Idea and relate it to many situations in my daily life, situations that teaches me to be humble to go through without problems.
I can think of the moral of the story in harmony with those events that I experienced, because broadening the main idea of the poem, which is "Humility", I think it would also spell out saying sorry first (which is an act displayed through the poem) , making the first move to avoid upcoming problems, putting aside one's own likings or craves for the sake of others', etc. And I have experienced those values with friends, relatives and siblings in the past, something that I am thanking God for, because He has let me encounter opportunities to apply humility, because I can say that it really feels good to have humility and not pride, because in doing so, we are following a teaching of Christ in the Bible, knowing it and being sure of it multiplies the gladness.
